All night I haven't been able to log on to sl. Ugh. I figured that I should be productive, and make a less snarky sl related blog. Let's face it, there's so many blogs out there that are far too .willing to make fun of you instead of helping you. So here's my lazy first blog.


So, you've signed up for sl. Now what?

1. If you start off in a sandbox or help island STAY for the tutorials. It will help you ALOT, because there are a large group of people that  dislike helping new people. Not everyone can be a ray of sunshine like me.

2. Get a decent outfit, hair and skin. Seriously. Unless, you like being mocked... If you're not a paid member, most likely you have no cash. There are tons of freebie places with really...interesting clothes. The best places to go for clothes are regular stores that have a small freebie section. A great example of this is *ICING*. Not only do they have free dresses, but they have entire kits. The kits come with everything a new user needs until they get some cash in their "wallet". It would also be wise to ge an account at http://www.xstreetsl.com before going to any places like clubs and such... You can get a great first waredrobe for free on xstreetsl. The great part about it is when you tire of everything you have, you can just delete it! It's free, so buyer's remorse isn't so expensive!
 
3. GET A JOB, YOU LAZY BUM! haha, just kiddin! If you want to do some serious shopping, you're going to need linden. Linden is the currency in sl. There are plently of ways to get linden: camping, jobs, and sometimes people just give you cash. Some business owners try to take advantage of new users by not paying them fairly or sometimes not at all. A good example of this is a certain club owner. Let's just call him "Mean Christmas". This guy will approach you to work for his club (which isn't even open), and try to get you to jump on poseballs so he can take pictures. He'll also tell you that you're his girl, which means you pretty much can't even be friends with anything with a penis.  If you're one of his girls, you're not the only one and he probably talks about you behind your back.  When his "club" is open, there's hardly anyone there, so you might work all night to get NOTHING. When people are actually there, he is rude to the customers and employees. He has degraded the employees in front of customers, which is a major no no! Stay away from this guy. Also, he is very degrading to his customers and workers alike. Normally, I wouldn't do this, but this person is such a piece of shit to people that I have no choice. Stay away from the Tender Trap strip club and its owner Cruel Noel.
